In these scopes the boot is silent (BIOS setup) so you wont get any messages, so if the hard drive is bad it might get stuck (or depending what the problem is it might give an error which in this case it is not) so I also suggest you try to read your hard drive in another computer or any other means and check it. In any case, ignore the splash screen, you should hit Del key (or F2 or some other key maybe but most probably Del) before that splash screen, this will get you to the BIOS if at least power supplies are good and some basics are OK if you cannot get into BIOS, then there could be a more serious issue with the motherboard 4-Since you are not getting that Acronis thing, there is a chance that your hard drive has a problem. When the signal acquired reaches a certain level (trigger) the program should save the acquired data to a file including some pre-samples. The Program should acquire the data measured by the scope in relatime (if this is possible). This is the first thing you need to know 2- take out any PCI or PCIe card that interfaces with the acquisition board etc.and boot the barebone PC with external monitor 3-Why havent you tried to get into the BIOS? or maybe you have and I missed it. im pretty new to LV and my task is to write a program for a LeCroy Waversurfer 44Xs. YOu have to have the 3.3V (orange) 5V (red) 12V(yellow) and -12V (blue?). Therefore here is what I would do 1-"Thou shall check the voltages" (Dave Jones) The ATX connector is easily accessible for measurement. Forget the CMOS battery.specially at 2.9V this is not source of any problem I am not familiar with these newer Lecroys but I have repaired tons of the older ones including many Windows based scopes of old Wavepro line I guess the structure must be very similar.
